Accessibility Statement

The University of Patras and the Archaeology and aNcient stuDies Laboratory – ANDlab are committed to making the website andlab.ha.upatras.gr accessible, in accordance with the provisions of Law 4727/2020 (Government Gazette 184/A/23.09.2020), Chapter VIII “Digital Accessibility”, as currently in force.

This statement applies to the ANDlab website.

Compliance status

In the design and development of the website, particular attention has been given, among other aspects, to the semantic organisation of content, responsiveness across different screen sizes, the use of alternative text for images, adequate colour contrast, and keyboard navigation.

Non-accessible content

The accessibility assessment of the website is ongoing. Certain elements, particularly external or embedded third-party content, as well as some electronic documents, may not yet fully meet all accessibility requirements. ANDlab aims to identify and progressively address such cases and, where feasible, to provide accessible alternative formats.

Content hosted on external websites linked from this site is not under the control of ANDlab. A corresponding exception for third-party content is also recognised in the current Accessibility Statement of the central University of Patras website.

Preparation of this statement

This statement was prepared on 27 September 2026.

The initial assessment is based on a self-evaluation of the website. Following completion of both the Greek and English versions, a supplementary review will be carried out using digital accessibility evaluation tools.

The statement will be reviewed following substantial changes to the website and, in any case, at least once a year, in accordance with the relevant guidelines of the University of Patras.
