This website is the official online presence of the Archaeology and aNcient stuDies Laboratory – ANDlab of the Department of History – Archaeology at the University of Patras and is hosted on the University of Patras web infrastructure.
The protection of personal data is governed by the current Privacy Policy of the University of Patras, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (EU 2016/679 – GDPR), Law 4624/2019, and the applicable legal and institutional framework. The University of Patras is the data controller for personal data processed in the context of the operation of its services.
Data collected when visiting the website
ANDlab does not require visitors to create an account and, in its current form, the website does not include any form through which personal data are collected directly. During the normal operation of the hosting infrastructure, technical data necessary for the security and proper functioning of the service may be recorded. Communication with the Laboratory takes place by email. Information provided in this way is used solely for the purpose of responding to the relevant message or request and is subject to the data protection policies of the University of Patras.
Cookies and local storage
The website may use strictly necessary storage technologies for its proper operation and for retaining user preferences, such as the selected display language. Depending on the settings enabled, WPML may use functional cookies for language selection or redirection.
Where the UserWay accessibility tool is enabled on the website, accessibility preferences are stored locally in the user’s browser and, according to the service’s current documentation, persistent cookies are not used for tracking or profiling purposes.
